friday fun

I don't have classes on Friday, and volunteering for the Edible Schoolyard hasn't begun yet, so today was...deliciously devoid of obligations. I woke up at 8:50 and bolted to the gym for my first cardio-kickboxing session since spring semester. Thereafter commenced the usual shower and a bit of twiddling around at home before I headed out.

Cheny, Josiah, Daniel, and I went to Alameda to load up on Chinese food and Teaway. Daniel wasn't informed of our time of departure, so he went swimming. We went to his apartment to knock on his door since he wasn't picking up, and we were going to leave without him but he walked up as we were about to drive off. Wasn't that so lucky? He still found reason to complain--he wanted to shower first but we weren't going to wait. But we let him run up to his place and put on some underwear. Was that not generous of us? Everyone was grumpy and hungry by then.

I don't know what else to say other than walking around in the sunshine, feeling fairly carefree is a nice feeling.
