brian & mama hannah

It's high time I talked a bit about the cast of characters in the Kenya GP, and our husband-wife director team are of course one of--if not the--biggest stars. That is Brian, and that is Debbie (but we call her Mama Hannah--in Kenya you call older matriarch-types by calling them Mama + inserting the name of their first born. Ie: my mum would be Mama Myron--ha! ha! ha!). I snapped these pictures of them one fine Sunday on our way to church.

Here's an article written about them, but what I'll tell you is that the two of them are incredible and I have nothing but love and respect for them. Brian makes me laugh till I'm winded (even though, as I learned this summer, he sometimes uses the same jokes) and Mama Hannah's fearless when it comes to my bowel issues.

They're the sort of people who know what really matters in life and will have absolute palaces in the kingdom of heaven for it.
