Dinner with Lily and Tanya and their Significant Others (Eric, on visit from SoCal, and Matt, respectively). Tanya and I made bruschetta while Lily and Eric fetched the curried potato pizza from Cheeseboard (the first flavor I ever had from Cheeseboard!) and Matt came from work. Actually, not sure where Matt was coming from but that made it sound homier/like we're all so grown up.
And of course I am the lone ranger here--and I realized, that's what it's going to be like from now on. Like in all the movies where everyone is an "&" and the hapless heroine of the romantic comedy is the only single person. Lily & Eric. Matt & Tanya. Denise & Extra Slice of Pizza. Hm. Guess I can't really complain.
