my life is a fairy tale

"Psychologist Eric Berne has suggested that one's favorite fairy tale, reinforced by other aspects of culture, could set a lifelong pattern of behavior:

'The story will then be his script and he will spend the rest of his life trying to make it come to pass.'"

from "The Misuses of Enchantment: Controversies on the Significance of Fairy Tales," by Kay Stone in Women's Folklore, Women's Culture.

I think you know what I'm talking about.

Studying for the three midterms I have this week have been very eye-opening. I think I may need a new script, and not just for this reason. Please write me a new one. I've attempted and I've tried, but I keep failing, so will You be my only Writer-Publisher-Editor-etc. etc.?

I listened to this on the plane when I was coming home from Kenya and prayed from the depth of my self that He would be my sole (erm...soul?) Writer. Always and forevermore, and that sort of thing. Since then I've questioned whether He's answered my prayer. And then I questioned whether or not I am letting Him.
